Keepin' It Casual

One thing I've started to realize after a series of months of working every other weekend, is that time off is very valuable. There are so many things that I want to get accomplished in a given day or series of days, and I have just become used to failing at completing all of these things...some things can just wait, you know? Preferably not until the last minute, but realistically, that's pretty much how I roll. Anyway, this past weekend was my weekend off, and I was so happy to be able to do a few special things. First of all, can you believe that two years ago, this child: was this child? It seems so crazy to me, it feels like it was just yesterday that I got to meet him for the first time! I remember my visit to the hospital and being so in awe of the whole process. I couldn't believe that my friend had created, carried, and birthed this beautiful baby boy! I cannot believe how often I get asked this question! Makes me wonder if there is something I am missing or not doing that I should be doing.
